Why do I get a blank / white screen when going to certain web sites?
Some web sites are graphic intensive and are just taking longer than normal to load the web page. The web site loading rate also depends on your internet connection speed. Loading a graphic intensive site usually takes 3 to 5 seconds; however if you have a much slower internet connection, then loading times will be much higher. Normally you will see an increase in loading times after visiting the site once.

This can also happen if multiple students are trying to get into the same site at the same time.

  • If you get the white screen, wait 3-5 seconds.
  • If nothing happens. click the Go button again.
Note: Sometimes you have to request access when others aren’t requesting access.
